Provisional capital Lahore’s Traffic Police department has launched a radio channel namedRasta FM 88.8 for the citizens which broadcasts very informative programs for its listeners regardingtraffic rules and road safety.
Most interesting thing in this radio is that the RJs and presenters of these broadcasts are those graduated traffic wardens which were hired 2 years back in traffic police department.Currently test transmission of this radio channel in on air in three languages, 65 percent programs are being broadcasted in Urdu, 30 percent and 5 percent are in Punjabi and English respectively.
Overall it is a brilliant effort by city traffic policeLahore Punjab and credit goes to traffic wardenslike Rabia , Fatima and all other RJs who are providing useful information to citizens about traffic rules and road safety in very light and entertaining manner , entertaining? YES! You can also listen to your favorite songs on Rasta FM 88.8. Good Job traffic police, it would definitely buildup a friendly relationship between traffic police and citizens.
